What to know about this clog
Sanita manufactured Dansko's clogs until 2007, which is why older pairs of both feel related and why the sizing conventions still overlap. Leather uppers breathe and mould, which matters more over a long day than any amount of padding does.
The buckle is what makes this workable on a high instep. Anything with a fixed vamp will press across the top of the foot and will not stretch enough to fix it.
Most of these are built on EU lasts and converted inconsistently to US sizing. Where you can, work from the EU number.
Keep them away from radiators and direct sun. Heat is what cracks leather uppers and delaminates soles, not water.
