What to know about this clog
Sanita has been making clogs in Denmark since 1907, and the original line is still built on a shaped beechwood base with the upper nailed to it. Oiled full-grain absorbs marks instead of showing them, and darkens over the first year into something that looks better than it did new.
For twelve-hour shifts the footbed matters more than the cushioning. Cushioning compresses; a supportive shape does not.
Leave about a centimetre in front of your longest toe, and check that your foot is not spilling over the sides of the footbed — that is a width problem, not a length one.
Keep them away from radiators and direct sun. Heat is what cracks leather uppers and delaminates soles, not water.
