What to know about this clog
The interlocking footbed is designed to be swapped out as it compresses, which extends the life of the shoe past the point most clogs are finished. Leather stretches across the width over the first few weeks and barely at all in length. Buy for length, let width settle.
The cork footbed is the part doing the work. Firm at first, then moulded to your arch after two or three weeks of regular wear.
Specified for ward work: the combination of a supportive footbed and a closed upper is what most unit dress codes are asking for.
Leave about a centimetre in front of your longest toe, and check that your foot is not spilling over the sides of the footbed — that is a width problem, not a length one.
Keep them away from radiators and direct sun. Heat is what cracks leather uppers and delaminates soles, not water.
