What to know about this clog
The fit runs closer to a normal shoe than a traditional clog, which makes it an easier first step for anyone who has never worn one. Suede is soft from the first wear because there is no surface finish to break in — and no surface finish to protect it either. A protector spray from day one is not optional.
The footbed is moulded rather than mouldable — support comes from a fixed shape, so there is no break-in period and no personalisation either.
Black is the colour most workplace dress codes specify, and the one that hides toe-box scuffs best. It greys as the finish dries — conditioner brings it back. Most of these are built on EU lasts and converted inconsistently to US sizing. Where you can, work from the EU number.
Leather needs roughly a day to release the moisture it absorbed from your foot. Two pairs alternated each last more than twice as long as one worn daily.
